Visiting teacher from Japan

In term 3, Parktone warmly welcomed Sensei Okagawa, a visiting teacher from Kawasaki, Japan. During her 2 week visit, Sensei Okagawa spent time sharing various aspects of Japanese culture with the students and in turn,  exploring the sights of Melbourne.

Parktone was pround to recently welcome visiting Japanese teacher, Yasuko
Okagawa. She currently works at an elementary school in Kawasaki and
has a passion for cultural exchange. Sensei Okagawa spent two weeks with our students taking part in all the Japanese sessions. They were introduced to many interesting aspects of Japanese school life and culture including calligraphy and taking part in a Japanese tea ceremony.
