  • Listening with concentration and imagination and developing stories.
  • Playing a wide range of instruments in a variety of class ensembles. The instruments include an extensive array of un-tuned / non-melodic (maracas etc.) and tuned / melodic (xylophones etc.) percussion instruments.
  • Refined listening leading to music literacy
  • Choral singing
  • Physical expression, movement, dance and drama.
  • Improvisation and composition.

Students take part in a school production with Prep – Year 2 students proudly performing to family and friends and Year 3 – 6 students taking centre stage each alternate year. These exciting performances build confidence, teamwork and creativity which giving every child the chance to find the joy in performing.
